She holds a PhD in Life Sciencesfrom the University of Capetown in South Africa. She served as Coordinator ofthe Working Group on Gender Equality at UNESCO, Director of the OzonActionprogramme at United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). She was nominatedFirst Class Director of Research at INSERM in 2017.
